Have you ever wondered if your research might be of interest to the policy world?

The Oxford Policy Engagement Network (OPEN) is a growing network of more than 1,000 researchers, professional services staff and doctoral students who share a vision of public policy powered by the world’s best available research evidence and expertise.

To find out more about how you can become involved in policy engagement, visit the Policy Engagement Team’s website, which contains guidance and resources on where to start with policy engagement, funding opportunities to support such work, details of our training events and a Researcher Stories series, where scholars reflect on their experiences of policy engagement.

To help OPEN researchers navigate the fast-growing and complex academic/policy interface, we produce the OPEN Alert, a weekly digest of new opportunities for Oxford researchers to engage with the policy world, tailored to members’ policy interests and preferences. You can join OPEN by following this link.

This Policy Engagement Team also connects researchers from across the University with opportunities to engage with policymaking communities locally, nationally, and internationally.

To help with such work, the team has a dedicated Humanities and Public Policy Officer, Tom Kelsey, who can offer you support. You can contact him at: thomas.kelsey@humanities.ox.ac.uk.
