This event will bring together academics and poets from the nearby area to discuss global medieval poetry and its intersections with contemporary literatures. We will discuss and read excerpts from medieval and contemporary poetry. The goal is to explore how medieval themes continue to resonate in modern writing. Attendees will also have the opportunity to engage in discussions with poets and scholars about the evolution and the relevance of poetic forms.
